WH series

The new WH Series compact traffic escalator drive series includes 5 footprint options and is easily interchangeable with other manufacturers. The compact design of the drive can be used as an electric motor or with a vertical motor, brake and flywheel kit for in-truss mounting. 

The high-speed input stage features a unique Renold Holroyd worm gear form, and the second stage is helical, with a worm/helical combination designed for high efficiency and low noise.  

The unit also benefits from Renold's low-oil level technology, which lowers operating temperatures and extends operating life. Non-contact labyrinth seals are available as an option to ensure leak-free new installations.
